Haha! Make sure you have waterproof trousers that fit over your walking boots! Luckily for me today, the wind was so strong that my trouser legs dried within minutes! Can't say the same for my tissues though.
You never really know what the weather will do on Dartmoor so I spent a lot of time looking in the direction the wind was coming to make sure I was ready. I was more worried about the cattle! Luckily for me the rain was short and only returned in spits.
Still a good walk as I braved the weather and continued on to Cosdon Hill and then Little Hound Tor and back around via a bit of a bog!!! I know where it is now! Had a great time overcoming adversity and keeping going. A few highlight photos below......please note the not so trendy head gear is my favourite piece of walking equipment. As a child I used to get bad ear ache from the wind on Dartmoor and ended up wearing my mother's head scarves - the head band is definitely more trendy/suitable!
