Today brought sunshine after rain, which is how life is sometimes! Over New Year, I was ill and that was my rain - it rained a lot too! Now the sun is out and everything feels better.
I took myself off to Sidford to check out a walk for a group this summer and my conclusion is that they need to be able to mud ski! The Sidford - Sidbury circuit.

Along the way, there were some spectacular views...after muddy climbs and slippery slopes. Very different sights take your mind off everything else in life. Focusing on the route and the ground beneath your feet is a version of mindfulness which releases creative thoughts and dreams. The exercise helps set off the endorphins to make you feel good so it is an all round winner!
I sat on this bench in the Summer of 2014 and the view was quite different!
Last time the fields had bullocks in and I had to slither quickly past to avoid being spotted! They seem to like me and it is not reciprocated! However, when the sheep saw me, they decided to trot to the other side of the field - why don't bullocks do that?
Sidbury is a scenic village which has some lovely countryside around it.
And mud!
And beauty
Another energizing walk, appreciating the beauty of the area and grateful for being able to enjoy it freely.
